Congratulating journalists on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong affirmed that, after a century of formation and development, Vietnam's revolutionary press has always played a pioneering role on the ideological-cultural front, serving as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people.
Dien Bien press has continuously grown and matured in terms of staff, innovated in content and form of expression; actively contributed to the cause of building and developing the socio-economy, maintaining national defense and security, and building a strong political system.
In the period of digital technology development, along with the process of deep integration, requiring constant innovation and creativity in both content, form and journalism methods, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested the team of journalists to continue to maintain political mettle and professional ethics; promote digital transformation, improve the quality of journalistic works; promptly and vividly reflect the realities of social life, spread positive values, and contribute to bringing the Party's resolutions into life.
Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong believes that cadres and reporters of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper and reporters of central press agencies based in Dien Bien province will continue to inherit the fine traditions of the previous generation, promote the spirit of innovation and creativity, continue to write glorious pages of history of revolutionary journalism, build Dien Bien press to develop more and more, be a pioneer force in the ideological and cultural work of the Party, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in the province.
Recognizing the contributions of collectives and reporters to the development of Dien Bien, on this occasion, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in management, information and propaganda on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Comrade Le Thi Thuy Lan, Head of the representative office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Dien Bien province, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee.
