The Hop Thinh Cooperative (Cao Loc district) develops the seedling nursery business, supplying seedlings to farmers inside and outside Lang Son province. |
For example, Hop Thinh Cooperative (Cao Loc district), founded by Ms. Ly Bich Linh in 2006, has now become one of the leading cooperatives in Lang Son province with a chain-linked model of a pig farming project worth nearly 43.5 billion VND. Annual revenue reaches 25 billion VND, ensuring stable income for workers at an average of 5 million VND/month…
Recognizing that many households in the village were engaged in seedling cultivation, but with small, fragmented plots, a lack of stable markets, and improper technical procedures, Ms. Hoang Thi Hong (Van Mieu village, Minh Son commune, Huu Lung district) mobilized women in the village to join a production cooperative, of which she is the leader. To date, the seedling cultivation cooperative has sold over 4 million forestry seedlings to the market, generating over 1.2 billion VND in revenue and creating regular employment for nearly 20 female members.
Ms. Vi Thi Tuyet, a member of the seedling nursery cooperative, said: “My family is a near-poor household. By joining the cooperative, I am guaranteed a market for my products and receive technical guidance, which allows me to earn about 100 million VND per year. My family is gradually rising out of poverty and stabilizing our lives.”

Ms. Vy Lụa is a prime example of a woman who dares to take risks and be creative in producing and selling herbal teas made from locally available ingredients. |
One of the dynamic "leaders" in developing and enhancing the brand of local products is Ms. Vi Thi Lua, Director of the Lua Vy Agricultural Products Processing Cooperative in Chi Lang district. The cooperative primarily operates in the production and sale of Houttuynia cordata tea, Rhus chinensis tea, guava tea, and other products readily available in the local area. Thanks to the support of relevant authorities and the cooperative's proactive approach in building its brand and promoting its products, the cooperative's tea products have quickly become known and used by consumers.
As a result, the cooperative's revenue has also increased rapidly. In 2021, the cooperative's revenue was only about 400 million VND, but by 2024 it had reached about 2 billion VND. Through this, many people have escaped poverty sustainably and risen to prosperity in Lang Son province.
