Jude Soonsup-Bell has a Thai grandfather. He was born and raised in England. The 20-year-old striker studied at Chelsea Academy, then Tottenham. During this time, he was called up to the England U16, U18 and U19 teams and scored goals in all of them. With a height of 1m84 and skillful feet, Jude Soonsup-Bell is considered a bright "rough diamond" of English football.
However, in recent years, Jude Soonsup-Bell has shown signs of slowing down. While his former teammates Lewis Hall (Newcastle), Kaide Gordon (Liverpool)... are progressing and starting to debut in the Premier League, Jude Soonsup-Bell was only recruited by Grimsby Town, a team playing in the Fourth Division of the foggy country. Jude Soonsup-Bell appeared on the registration list for the match against MU (won the penalty shootout in the English League Cup) but did not get on the field.

After that, he made 10 appearances in all competitions, without scoring a goal for Grimsby Town. In that context, the Football Association of Thailand approached Jude Soonsup-Bell and tried to convince him to move to the Thai national team. Jude Soonsup-Bell probably understood that he was losing hope of playing for England, so after working with the president Madam Pang, the young star agreed.
The process for Jude Soonsup-Bell to change federations was immediately underway. As Jude Soonsup-Bell met FIFA's bloodline requirements, the player was quickly approved to play for the Thai national team. And today (November 7), FIFA confirmed Jude Soonsup-Bell is eligible to play for the War Elephants. He appeared in the call-up list for the match against Sri Lanka in November.
Thus, the new coach Anthony Hudson's roster includes two naturalized players, Nicholas Mickelson and Jude Soonsup-Bell. This roster also sees the return of veterans such as Teerasil Dangda, Theerathon Bunmathan and Sarach Yooyen.
