This year, Vietnam is honored to have 72 representatives participating, spanning many fields: business, art, technology, fashion and social activities.
Tatler Most Influential is an annual list that honors influential people who stand out not only for their professional achievements but also for their ability to inspire and create positive impacts on the community. In 2025, the list brings together 700 outstanding individuals from seven countries and territories: Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong (China).
In Vietnam, the names of artists who are familiar and have made lasting contributions to cultural and artistic life include: Diva Hong Nhung, singer Tung Duong, Tran Thu Ha, My Tam, director Victor Vu, director Dang Thai Huyen, singer Phuong My Chi, etc. They are considered pioneers in shaping trends and elevating the value of Vietnamese art on the regional map.
According to Tatler Asia, the voting process was conducted over several months with three main criteria: quantifiable contribution, career seniority and sustainable influence. "The outstanding individuals on the Tatler Most Influential list are not only leaders in their fields, but are also redefining success and influence for future generations," Tatler representative shared.

Among a series of veteran names, Phuong My Chi is the only Vietnamese Gen Z artist to be honored in this year's list. At the age of 22, the young singer has proven her mettle and unique direction, harmonizing traditional values with contemporary spirit, becoming a symbol for a generation of young artists who dare to think, dare to do and are responsible for national culture.

Tatler Asia commented: "Phuong My Chi is one of the earliest and most enduring singers in Vietnamese music". Her 10-year singing career is a testament to her love and responsibility for national culture - from a folk singer emerging from "The Voice Kids" to a young pioneer artist bringing traditional music closer to modern audiences.

The year 2025 marks an important milestone when Phuong My Chi is invited to perform at two national ceremonies: the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30) and the 80th Anniversary of National Day (September 2) at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. Her appearance at these important events affirms her position as a talented young artist, trusted with the responsibility of conveying the national spirit through music.
