Dien Bien: Listening to the opinions of the Secretary and Heads of 76 residential groups and villages on the operation of 2-level local government

In order to promptly grasp the activities of Party cells in residential groups and villages in the area and the people's thoughts when operating the 2-level government model, on the afternoon of July 18, the Party Committee of Dien Bien Phu Ward (Dien Bien Province) organized a meeting and dialogue with nearly 200 comrades who are Secretaries and Heads of 76 residential groups and villages in the area.

Party cell secretary of Residential Group 14 (old Muong Thanh ward) informed about the wishes of the people in the area.

Chairing the meeting, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee, representing the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Phu Ward, gave an overview of the ward's activities, personnel arrangement and assignment, and key leaders of specialized departments and units.

Expressing his gratitude to the cadres and people of the residential groups and villages for their consensus with the local Party Committee and government in implementing the recent tasks, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung also expressed his wish to listen to and receive more opinions from the comrades who are Secretaries and Heads of the residential groups and villages so that the Party Committee and government of Dien Bien Phu ward can promptly and effectively resolve the work.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Secretary of the Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee, informed the Secretaries and Heads of residential groups and villages in the area about the general operation of Dien Bien Phu Ward after more than 2 weeks of operating under the 2-level local government model.

At the meeting, the leader of the Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee informed that recently, through various information channels, the Ward Party Committee received 16 opinions and recommendations from residential groups. In general, the opinions expressed confidence in the 2-level government model that is truly close to the people, immediately solving urgent problems of the people; the initial activities of Dien Bien Phu Ward ensure proper operation, more convenient.

Regarding the proposal of the people of Residential Group 5 (old Thanh Truong Ward) to complete the items: trees, lighting, network cables, etc.; to speed up the progress of the multi-disaster embankment project on the Nam Rom River bank (Residential Group 5, old Thanh Truong Ward)... The Ward Party Committee assigned the Ward People's Committee to proactively grasp and propose to the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development Area I and related units to soon complete the construction items to put into use to serve the people.

On the same day, July 18, the Public Administration Service Center (under the People's Committee of Dien Bien province) organized training (in person and online) for nearly 500 officials, civil servants and public employees of the Public Administration Service Center of 45 communes and wards.

Officials and civil servants of the Dien Bien Provincial Public Administration Service Center attended a training session at the central bridge of Dien Bien province.

During the program, students are guided through the process of public posting and administrative procedures at the commune and ward public administrative service centers; posting information on the electronic information page of the People's Committee of the commune and ward.

The lecturer also guides students through the process of receiving and handling administrative procedures on the province's administrative procedure handling information system.
