During the Month of Action for Children and Vietnam Family Day (June 28), the Trade Union of the Electricity Company coordinated with the professional organization to organize many practical activities such as visiting and giving gifts to 16 children of employees with serious illnesses and congenital disabilities with the amount of 16 million VND; organizing a cultural and exchange program on June 1st attracting over 800 children to participate. The total cost was 123 million VND.
At the same time, care for and encourage children of employees to achieve high academic results. In the 2024-2025 school year, the entire Company has 828 children studying at all levels, of which 440 children are good or excellent; 10 children won national prizes, 94 children won provincial prizes, 93 children won district/city prizes. In particular, 47 outstanding children were commended by the Northern Power Corporation.
In July, the Trade Union and Youth Union of Son La Power Company launched a drawing contest on “Using electricity safely and economically” for children of staff and workers. The contest attracted many impressive works, conveying messages about electrical safety, energy saving and environmental protection.
In addition, over the years, Son La Power Company has maintained activities to commend exemplary families of employees voted by grassroots trade union groups, which are families whose spouses work in remote, border areas, overcome difficulties, comply with the policies of the Party and State, spread positive values, and contribute to building a united and cohesive working environment.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of the Northern Power Corporation and Son La Power Company commended and rewarded 47 children with excellent academic achievements; awarded 10 prizes to children who won the "Safe and economical use of electricity" painting contest; and commended 9 exemplary families of workers.
