Launching the art creation campaign "Creating religion in life"

The Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has just launched the art creation campaign "Creating religion in life", towards the 10th National Buddhist Congress, scheduled to take place in December 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The movement “Creating Buddhism in Life” encourages the creation of works with the spirit of Buddhism in many fields: literature, music , fine arts, theater, cinema, architecture, festival design, sculpture, etc. Typical works will be displayed, performed and applied in Vietnamese Buddhist cultural festivals, contributing to building an artistic space with regional identity, in the spirit of unity in diversity.

The movement "Creating religion in life" aims to create and form a bank of contemporary Buddhist art heritage, as a cultural foundation for today and tomorrow.

Through the power of art forms, the program hopes to spread Buddhism into life, contributing to "enlightening the world" and nurturing good souls.
