Users can use the ECG app to record a guided 30-second electrocardiogram and view heart rate results immediately on the smartwatch, or optionally view them later in the Garmin Connect™ app on their smartphone.

When you take an ECG, the ECG app uses the built-in sensors on the Venu 2 Plus to record the electrical signals that represent your heart's rhythm. It then analyzes the recording to detect early signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib). You can also optionally sync your ECG results with the Garmin Connect app to track your measurement history and export this information as a PDF to share with your healthcare professional.

Garmin also organized an activity to invite 100 customers to try the ECG application and experience Venu 2 Plus at the Garmin Sala brand store (Sala Urban Area, Thu Duc City) on April 15. Thereby, Garmin will create ECG reports in PDF format for the first 100 participants, to encourage people to actively and proactively monitor their health...

On the occasion of launching the new breakthrough application, Garmin brings the message “Watch Your Beat – A picture of health from Garmin” when participating in the healthy living event “The race to burst into vitality”, taking place on April 9 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ). Participants in the physical exercise challenges at the event series will experience the latest ECG application from Garmin, understand their bodies better with the Garmin Health survey and receive health advice from doctors.

“The ECG app is Garmin’s first FDA-cleared smartwatch feature,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin’s vice president of global sales. “We are proud to offer this revolutionary tool to our users to help them monitor and maintain their health. The early symptoms of atrial fibrillation are often subtle and difficult to detect clinically. With the new ECG app, Venu 2 Plus users can conveniently take an ECG anytime and create a report to share the results with their doctors.”
