Firefighting and rescue drill at Central Power Solar Power Plant

The Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CNCH) of Region 4 - Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and CNCH of the Provincial Police recently coordinated with the Central Power Solar Power Plant (Tan An village, Cam An Bac commune, Cam Lam district) to organize a fire fighting and rescue drill. Nearly 50 people participated in the drill, including professional firefighters, grassroots firefighters and related units.

In the hypothetical situation, an electrical short circuit in the factory office area led to a fire that spread to the control system. Upon discovering the incident, the local fire prevention and fighting force immediately raised the alarm, organized the evacuation of people and property, and initially carried out firefighting. Upon receiving the report, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 4 dispatched 2 fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene. After more than 10 minutes of deploying the fire fighting team, the fire was completely extinguished, and some victims were brought out safely.

A victim was brought to safety by search and rescue forces.

Authorities participated in extinguishing the fire at the scene.

According to the leader of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 4, the drill was safe and effective. This activity not only contributed to improving incident handling skills but also strengthened close coordination between professional fire fighting forces and on-site fire fighting forces, ensuring fire safety at the factory.
