Scientific workshop on air conditioning performance evaluation

On the afternoon of May 24, Nha Trang University organized a scientific workshop with the topic “Evaluation of energy efficiency of local air conditioners and VRF (vehicle routing issues)”. The workshop was attended by more than 100 experts and scientists in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, representatives of state management agencies, businesses in the South Central region and students of the university.

At the workshop, delegates exchanged and discussed about standards and trends in evaluating the performance of wall-mounted air conditioners and VRFs in Vietnam as well as in the world; gave suggestions for improving energy labels for air conditioners; the issue of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and regulations of Vietnamese law... Thereby, contributing to promoting the connection between scientific research and practical application in the fields of thermal engineering, electromechanical engineering, especially energy efficiency and green technology conversion.

On this occasion, a number of businesses awarded 5 scholarships with a total value of 10 million VND to students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Nha Trang University with good academic results.
