Delegation of Dong Thap province visited the funeral of former President Tran Duc Luong

DTO - On the afternoon of May 24, at Thong Nhat Hall (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province, led by comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to pay tribute to comrade Tran Duc Luong - former member of the Politburo , former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, former Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council.

Also attending the ceremony were comrade Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies; comrade Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province.

In a solemn atmosphere, comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee and members of the delegation respectfully offered wreaths and incense to commemorate former President Tran Duc Luong.

With infinite sorrow and deep gratitude, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province observed a minute of silence to commemorate former President Tran Duc Luong - an exemplary leader who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.
