Technical problem at Thong Nhat Transaction Office - BIDV Khanh Hoa has been resolved.

At about 11:50 a.m. on May 24, at Thong Nhat Transaction Office - Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Khanh Hoa Branch (Van Thanh Ward, Nha Trang City), a technical problem occurred, causing black smoke to appear on the ground floor.

Professional fire fighting force promptly arrived at the scene.

According to BIDV Khanh Hoa, as soon as the incident was detected, the automatic fire alarm system of the Transaction Office was activated, sending out timely signals. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of the Provincial Police quickly mobilized specialized vehicles and a team of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate the handling. The fire prevention and fighting force deployed measures to extinguish the smoke, check the electrical system and ensure the safety of the building.

According to the scene, the incident was controlled and thoroughly handled by professional firefighters, preventing the fire from spreading. There were no reported casualties; material damage was assessed as insignificant, mainly related to some technical equipment on the ground floor.

According to BIDV Khanh Hoa representative, Thong Nhat Transaction Office continues to operate normally to serve customers immediately after completing the inspection and repair work. At the same time, review and upgrade the technical system to avoid similar incidents.
