Local adjustment of Long Thanh airport planning

The Ministry of Transport has just approved local adjustments to the Long Thanh International Airport Planning.

According to the adjusted plan, the area of 12 aircraft repair and maintenance facilities in the northeast of the port will be rearranged. Each facility will have an area of about 3.8 to 4.5 hectares.

At the same time, arrange parallel taxiways and synchronous technical infrastructure works to ensure connection and exploitation with the area of aircraft repair and maintenance works in the Northeast of the port.

According to the adjusted planning, the area of 12 aircraft repair and maintenance facilities at Long Thanh International Airport will be rearranged.

Other contents remain the same as Decision No. 909/2011 of the Prime Minister and other relevant Decisions.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies to manage and implement the planning in accordance with current regulations. At the same time, review and complete planning documents and drawings to ensure compliance with the approved planning content.

At the same time, continue to review the planning of projects to propose adjustments and supplements to suit the needs of exploitation and development investment, and update the adjusted content according to the direction in the official dispatches of the Ministry of Transport.

In the next implementation steps, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and relevant units will continue to calculate and determine technical factors to ensure reasonableness, make adjustments and handle contents within their authority, and report to the Ministry of Transport for consideration of contents beyond their authority (if any).
