On April 17, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province held a press conference to inform about the "Culture, Sports , Tourism and Cuisine Week of Ninh Thuan province in 2025" with the theme "Ninh Thuan - Land of convergence of different values".

Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 takes place from April 30 to May 4 in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City and some districts.

According to the organizers, this is the largest and most unique cultural, sports and tourism event ever in Ninh Thuan province.

The highlight of the Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 is the opening night held at 8:00 p.m. on April 30 in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City. The opening ceremony started with a special art program, a performance of 200 drone lights and ended with a fireworks display.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province - said that coming to this series of events, people and tourists will immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere when experiencing the hot air balloon festival, the culinary festival introducing the province's specialties and participating in sports activities such as boat racing and cycling.

In addition, many activities in response to this event were held in some localities in the province. These include: Raglai Cultural Festival in the mountainous district of Bac Ai; Nam Hai Lang Than fishing festival and visiting and experiencing Thai An vineyard in Ninh Hai district; Bau Truc pottery art, My Nghiep brocade weaving in Ninh Phuoc district, etc.

"With dedicated investment and support from social resources, Ninh Thuan promises to welcome about 200,000 visitors during the 5 days of the event, expected to bring in tourism revenue of more than 200 billion VND" - Mr. Hoa said.
