On the afternoon of May 15, information from Phu Quoc International Airport (Phu Quoc Airport) said that the relevant competent authority at Phu Quoc Airport is clarifying the truth of the incident involving a Taiwanese tourist accusing an airport employee of tearing up the passenger's plane ticket on May 13.
According to initial information, after a 6-day, 5-night trip to Phu Quoc City ( Kien Giang ), a family of 4 Taiwanese tourists returned home on May 13. However, when arriving at the gate, an employee believed to be an immigration officer asked the tourists to complete separate procedures for each person (including their two children).
After having to wait in line for a long time, this Taiwanese female tourist complained and had her boarding pass torn up by an airport staff right in front of her.
Even though it was resolved and reprinted for tourists, the actions of the staff at Phu Quoc airport left a bad impression in the eyes of tourists.
