Besides the stories of Xuan, Bac, Nam, Thao, there are other people with different fates, sharing the same aspiration to rise up and change their own lives, such as Kha, an innocent guy with a dream of becoming a singer, or Nghia, a well-off family but failed in love and accepted to step back to be friends with the person he loves. There is also Phong, a technology engineer who studied abroad and has the aspiration to reform the factory with family shares, having to confront many conservative forces.

The film tells the story of building happiness, overcoming difficulties and connecting strangers in a workers' dormitory - where life and calculations do not make people turn their backs on each other. On the contrary, they get closer and spread positive energy, kindness and faith.

Gentle Sunshine is an inspiring story about the effort to rise up in life, regardless of the circumstances. From a low starting point, they stumble, fail, pay the price but never stop moving.

“We got the idea for this topic when we conducted a field survey to find a topic. However, in this film, the view of workers has also changed a lot, more modern, more proactive, and most importantly, the thinking as well as the approach and problem-solving of the characters in the film have also changed a lot” - screenwriter Trinh Khanh Ha shared.

Sharing about the very romantic name of the film, screenwriter Trinh Khanh Ha explained that “sunshine color” here means hope, light for people to look forward to, no matter what the circumstances. “Sunshine color” also means the warmth that the characters give to each other in all their sad and happy stories, successes and failures.
