Djokovic hopes to equal Federer's record at Wimbledon.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Novak Djokovic has arrived in England to prepare for Wimbledon 2025, and the Serbian star hopes to equal the record of legendary Roger Federer at this tournament.

The Serbian player is ready to embark on his quest for his eighth Wimbledon title, thereby equaling Roger Federer's record for the most wins at this tournament.

Fans spotted Djokovic having a friendly meeting with world number one Jannik Sinner on the training court. Sinner currently leads Djokovic 5-4 in their head-to-head encounters. In their most recent meeting in the semi-finals of Roland Garros 2025, the Italian player won easily in three sets.

Both players are actively preparing for Wimbledon 2025. Sinner is training with Grigor Dimitrov, while Djokovic is training with Stefanos Tsitsipas. Nole is aiming for his 25th Grand Slam title, while Sinner is eager to win Wimbledon after losing to Alcaraz in the 2025 Roland Garros final.

In addition to aiming for his eighth Wimbledon title to equal Federer's record, Djokovic aims to become the second male player to win 100 matches in two different Grand Slam tournaments.

Previously, Nole reached the milestone of 100 wins at Roland Garros and currently has a record of 97 wins and 12 losses at Wimbledon. Federer has 105 wins at Wimbledon and 102 wins at the Australian Open.

Wimbledon 2025 will take place in London (England) from June 30th to July 13th. Djokovic is seeded number 6 and he could face one of the top four players – Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, or Jack Draper – in the quarterfinals.

Throughout his career, Djokovic has won 100 ATP titles, including a record 24 Grand Slams, 40 ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and 7 ATP Finals. He is the only male player to have won each Grand Slam at least three times in his career.
