According to Defense News , the AH-64E Apache aircraft was contracted by Boeing to be produced by the US military in December 2021, including software updates and improvements.
The plane can carry two people, including a pilot and a navigator-gunner.
The AH-64 Apache is designed and built to perform a variety of battlefield missions such as ground attack, fire support for mechanized infantry, reconnaissance and counter-insurgency operations.
The aircraft's equipment includes an optical-electronic sensor system - infrared imaging mounted on the aircraft's nose, allowing it to search, detect and aim at targets day and night, in all weather conditions and complex environments.
The aircraft is versatile and equipped with a variety of advanced weapons, including a 30 mm M230 automatic cannon mounted under the fuselage, two short wings with suspension systems carrying AGM-114 Hellfire multi-purpose anti-tank missiles and Hydra 70 rocket launchers.
With the ability to carry a large number of weapons, the AH-64 Apache is considered a powerful and effective combat vehicle in battles in complex terrain.
Since entering service in the military, this helicopter line has been continuously improved and upgraded.
The AH-64E Apache is the most advanced version. It is tactically networked, has a high-powered engine, digital sensors and avionics.
The Apache helicopter is being used in almost every conflict involving the US military, and has proven highly effective in many combat situations in the Middle East.
