Not as brilliant as roses in the sun, not as elegant as orchids in the morning dew, the flower of kindness brings a sweet fragrance that penetrates every unfortunate life, soothes pain and rekindles fading beliefs. Is there any flower more magical than that? Is there any fragrance more beautiful than the fragrance of kindness, tolerance and love for humanity?
A person's life - whether small or extraordinary - can become a torch to illuminate many others if they carry within them a brilliant flower of kindness. And I - a person who seemed to have been buried by fate since childhood - was fortunate to be bathed in the water of love, cherished by the kindness of many people so that today, I can bloom like a flower in life.

From an unfortunate childhood...
I was a child who did not have the chance to walk properly during the first 3 years of my life, when a severe cold left my legs cramped, and my eyes almost lost their light until today. I thought my life would forever be tied to darkness and helplessness. But no! Miracles came, not from magical illusions, but from the heart of my mother - the first person to sow the seed of kindness in my little soul.
My family was very poor back then, but my mother never let our hearts become dry. Every time a beggar came by, she kindly asked us to bring them a bowl of rice, a few ripe bananas or the most intact shirt in the house. I grew up from those small actions, from my mother's loving eyes towards strangers, and from the sincere gratitude of those who passed through my life - even just once. It was those things that saved my soul, made me feel that I was not unhappy, even though this body was not intact.

Growing up, I realized that kindness is not just about giving material things, but a deep empathy. It was the neighbors who shared a shirt and a pair of shoes with me who taught me about sharing. It was the teachers who did not look at me with pity, but with faith, who taught me to believe in my own worth. And my friends born in 1995 gave me a brilliant youth, where I could be myself, without disabilities, without complexes, only laughter and sincere friendship.
...to your own "giving" journey
I have lived on the love of so many people, so I understand that nothing is more precious than a kind heart. Since 2020, I have started my own "giving" journey. The donations, the small gifts to the poor, the articles I sent to the "Golden Heart" section - Lao Dong Newspaper, posted on social networks just to call for help from the community..., each action is like a flower of kindness blooming one after another on the journey of life. I am not rich, not powerful, but I have a heart that can be moved by the pain of others, and I believe, that is the richest thing.

There are situations I have helped, such as a family of 4 seriously ill people or a mentally ill woman raising 3 children to study, a blind woman who had brain surgery... now overcoming hardship thanks to the community's support. Some people received a few million, some received hundreds of millions. But I believe, what they received is more valuable than anything else is the belief in humanity, in the kindness that still exists in this life.
In more than 5 years of volunteering, I have met many lives that are more tragic than mine. They have no legs to walk, no light to see, and even no relatives by their side. But they still live, still hope. And I, who once thought I had "collapsed before I could grow up", suddenly found myself strangely lucky. I have to live, not only for myself, but also to become a helping hand when others are struggling.
I am not proud of what I have done, because I am simply "giving back" the good things I have received. It is a natural journey, like the way a seed will bloom when cared for. The flower of kindness in me has bloomed, not to show off, but to spread love. I am just an ordinary person, but I believe: each of us can be such a flower. Let kindness lead the way, so that this life is less harsh, so that each person, even if they stumble, has the opportunity to stand up, smile and move on.
Finally, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to my mother, who sowed the first seed of love. Thank you to my teachers, friends, neighbors, and even strangers who have helped me in small ways in my life. You are the ones who made me who I am today. And I wish that: if one day, I am no longer here, the flower of kindness that I have sown will continue to multiply and bloom everywhere, on the driest lands of life.
May our beloved earth be a forest of flowers of kindness, so that the world may forever be filled with the passionate fragrance of wonders!
