- On the afternoon of April 29, a delegation of experts from the US National Cave Association visited, discussed, and presented about the beauty of caves, how to protect caves, and ensure safety when visiting caves at Mong An Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Mong An Commune, Binh Gia District.
Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion; representatives of the Departmentof Education and Training, Mong An Commune People's Committee, Vietnam Expeditions Joint Stock Company and many teachers and students of Mong An Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
During the visit, members of the US National Cave Association's expert delegation gave an overview of the US National Cave Association; introduced caves and sinkholes in Mong An commune, Binh Gia district; promoted environmental protection and landscape protection of tourist attractions in the Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark in Mong An commune, especially caves; ways to protect caves and ensure safety for visitors to caves.
Activities to promote communication, advertising, propose solutions to build and develop products, tours of cave and sinkhole exploration of UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark; prepare geological tourism products - cave and sinkhole exploration to introduce to domestic and international tourists; strengthen foreign affairs, people-to-people exchanges to contribute to enhancing the position and reputation of UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark and effective international cooperation for the sustainable development of the region.
Earlier, on the same morning, a delegation of experts from the US National Cave Association and members of the provincial survey team conducted a field survey at Nguom Mooc Cave, Mong An Commune, Binh Gia District (Tourist Route No. 2 of Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark).
