In recent times, with the attention and leadership of the Party Committee and the command of Brigade 653, along with the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the cadres and union members, the youth movement of Brigade 653 has had many important developments. The unit's youth union members have implemented many practical and effective youth projects and tasks.

Notably: 100% of cadres and union members have a firm grasp of the directives and regulations of Party committees and commanders at all levels on combat readiness work, well implementing the rules of duty and practicing combat readiness plans, natural disaster prevention plans, search and rescue plans, not being passive or surprised in any situation; participating in competitions and sports events with high results, specifically: The 2025 Military Region 3 Sports and Physical Training Festival achieved the best results in the entire brigade, the "Safe Car Driving" Competition at the grassroots level and the Competition organized by the Logistics and Engineering Department of Military Region 3 won 1 first prize for car driver, 1 third prize for truck driver; effectively promoting the models of "Regular garage, model vehicle"; "Safe driving soldier"... preservation, maintenance and repair regimes are always maintained and guaranteed in accordance with the regulations of each type. In 2024, the 653rd Brigade's Youth Union was awarded the emulation flag "Excellent unit in Youth Union work and youth movement" by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

During the 2025-2030 term, the congress identified the main directions and tasks: Innovating and improving the quality of propaganda, education and mobilization work for youth union members; caring for, educating, training, fostering, comprehensively developing, building a contingent of cadres and youth union members with strong political will, steadfast in the Party's ideals and goals; promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, participating in projects and initiatives for effective application in practice and military activities; building the 653 Brigade's grassroots Youth Union and its branches to be strong in politics, ideology, organization and ethics, dynamic and creative in military activities.

At the congress, Brigade 653 announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Brigade's Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term.
