The delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee presented many meaningful gifts to students in mountainous areas.

During a working trip to Quang Nam province, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee coordinated with sponsors to present many meaningful gifts to students and Tay Giang High School - a school in a mountainous border district.

On May 9, during a working trip to Quang Nam , the delegation of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee led by comrade Tran Kim Yen, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and presented gifts at Tay Giang High School (Tay Giang district).

Tay Giang district is a mountainous border district with rugged terrain and limited transportation and infrastructure. This district has more than 90% of the population being Co Tu ethnic people.

Tay Giang High School has 411 students (2024-2025 school year), of which 378 are ethnic minorities. Most of the school's students are from poor households and extremely disadvantaged areas. Due to the difficulty of transportation, there are 210 boarding students at the school.

Faced with the difficult conditions of the school and students, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Commission delegation coordinated with sponsors to donate a solar lighting system for classrooms and dormitories, and a clean water filtration system for the kitchen for boarding students.

The delegation also awarded 50 scholarships to help 50 students with difficult circumstances, studious and overcoming difficulties to go to school; 250 sets of blankets and mosquito nets for boarding students and teachers, 250 warm clothes for teachers and boarding students, 1 bookcase of skills, career guidance and many sets of textbooks for students. All gifts have a total value of more than 384 million VND.

Supporting and helping disadvantaged students and boarding students go to school is a very meaningful work, requiring the cooperation and contribution of not only the working group but also the whole community in the coming time.
