Miss Universe Australia 2024 delegation visits Hoi An ancient town

On May 25, Moraya Wilson, Miss Universe Australia 2023 and the top 28 contestants of Miss Universe Australia 2024 traveled to Hoi An ancient town to learn about the culture and history of the heritage area and experience village life at Thanh Ha pottery village, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

During the trip, the delegation also visited the Quang Nam Center for Support and Inclusive Education for Deaf Children (under the Hearing & Beyond Organization). Not only did they learn about the center’s activities, the girls were also taught sign language by deaf children.

During the visit, the delegation decided to set up a fundraising campaign from the Australian people to donate to the Center. The program was carried out through the contestants' personal Instagram social network and the Australian ToyBox Foundation.

The campaign is expected to last 8 days (starting from May 26 to June 1, 2024) with the goal of raising 10,000 Australian dollars (equivalent to about 168 million VND).

It is known that the Miss Universe Australia delegation visited Hoi An at the invitation of the Hoiana Resort & Golf complex. Before that, the delegation spent 7 days experiencing high-class resort services, participating in cooking programs, practicing performances as well as performing some side competitions.

On the afternoon of May 24, 28 contestants attended the press conference “Hoiana Summer Vibes 2024” organized by Hoiana. This is the summer kick-off event, opening a series of exciting and attractive activities taking place at the resort this summer.
