Attending the Congress were: Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Member of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of the Party Branch, Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Journalists & Public Opinion newspaper; Nguyen Thi Hai Van - Secretary of the Party Branch of the Training Center & Cultural Center, Director of the Center for Journalism Professional Training - Vietnam Journalists Association; Tran Lan Anh - Vice President of the Central Office Journalists Association of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journalists & Public Opinion newspaper; along with other delegates and distinguished guests.

Presenting the direction, tasks, and solutions for the Youth Union's work and youth movement of Branch 1 for the period 2024-2027, Comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of Branch 1, stated that the members of Branch 1 work at two units: the Journalists & Public Opinion newspaper and the Center for Journalism Professional Training. The total number of members is 30, including officials, specialists, and employees.

"The Congress will focus on setting out directions and tasks for the Youth Union's work in the 2024-2027 period. At the same time, it will elect the Executive Committee of Branch 1 for the 2024-2027 term, comprising members with full capacity and dedication to lead the Youth Union's work and youth movement in the agency to achieve high results," Comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh stated.

According to Comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh, with the slogan "Unity, dynamism, dedication, creativity," and the spirit of "Excellent planning, good service," this will be a political activity aimed at promoting the unity, creativity, enthusiasm, and collective intelligence of the youth of Branch 1, striving to excellently fulfill assigned political tasks and build a stronger Youth Union within the agency.

The Congress listened to presentations from members of Branch 1, focusing mainly on three main points: Solutions to "face challenges" to help young journalists become more confident when participating in social media, especially in combating false and hostile information; Solutions to prevent the "fading of the Youth Union" syndrome among some young journalists and editors today; and Solutions to promote cultural, artistic, and sports activities and movements within the Vietnam Journalists Association Central Office.

In his address to the Congress, Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Member of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of the Party Branch, and Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper "Journalist & Public Opinion" - expressed his joy and excitement at hearing the Congress present the direction and tasks for the 2024-2027 term, with many important tasks set out for the coming time. He also acknowledged the heartfelt contributions of the union members, which showed the thorough preparation for the Congress and the comrades' concern for the work of the Youth Union.

Dynamic unity, innovation, creativity, professional skills (Figure 4) — Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy emphasized the ideals, courage, and intelligence of the Youth Union members and young people.

To ensure that the Youth Union's work and youth movement in the 2024-2027 term achieve positive results, Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy emphasized: "Speaking of the Youth Union means speaking of ideals, courage, and intelligence. In the context of many challenges today, I hope that you comrades will continuously cultivate and preserve these values in your journey of training, striving, and growing."

Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy stated that, as a newly established Youth Union branch, receiving attention and support from the agency's leadership is a great advantage. The Executive Committee of the Youth Union branch, along with all its members, must uphold the spirit of initiative, innovation, and creativity, closely following the general activities within the unit, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the higher-level Youth Union. In particular, they must foster the creativity and "dare to think, dare to act" spirit of young people, linking it with professional activities.

Dynamic unity, innovation, creativity, professional skills (Figure 5) — Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association - highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Committee of Branch 1 in preparing the documents and personnel for the Congress.

"As the right arm of the Party, I propose that comrades pay attention to introducing new and bold methods, assigning challenging tasks to union members to help them fully develop their abilities and intelligence, thereby identifying and recommending outstanding union members for the Party to consider for admission; and doing a good job in Party building," Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy requested.

Highly appreciating and acknowledging the efforts of the Executive Committee of Branch 1 in preparing the documents and personnel for the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association - noted that the Executive Committee of Branch 1, appointed on a temporary basis and managing the Youth Union's activities from the beginning of April until now, has been proactive and responsible in carrying out political tasks, participating in the organization and management of key programs of the Youth Union in the second quarter, such as the Seminar on New Media Trends, Opportunities and Challenges organized by the Youth Union of Vietnam Television in coordination with the Youth Union of the Central Office and related units.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long expressed his confidence that the tasks set forth would be excellently completed by the members of Youth Union Branch 1 and that they would continue to build upon the achievements of the past.

Dynamic unity, innovation, creativity, professional skills (Figure 6) — Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of Branch 1 of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, for the term 2024-2027.

After a period of serious and diligent work, the Congress elected the first Executive Committee of Youth Union Branch 1 for the term 2024-2027, consisting of 3 members: Nguyen Dieu Linh - Secretary of Youth Union Branch; Tran Van Quoc - Deputy Secretary of Youth Union Branch; and Do Huyen Trang - Member of the Executive Committee of Youth Union Branch 1.
