According to the Organizing Committee, Ang Du Island is considered a "garbage cesspool" because it is the point where ocean currents carry waste from the sea into the Bay. However, with the enthusiasm of youth, the garbage collection activities here have taken place enthusiastically and effectively, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the Youth Union members in protecting the environment.

Through the practical activities of the program, the Youth Union members hope to gradually raise awareness of the people and tourists in protecting the environment of Ha Long Bay in particular and the marine environment in general.
