Miss Universe Australia contestants experience and promote tourism in Hoi An

During the trip, the Miss Universe Australia delegation also visited the Quang Nam Center for Support and Inclusive Education for Deaf Children (under the Hearing & Beyond Organization). In addition to learning about the center’s activities, the delegation was also taught sign language by deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

During the visit, the beauty queens decided to set up a fundraising campaign from the Australian people to donate to the center. The program was carried out through the contestants' personal Instagram social network and the Australian ToyBox fund, expected to last 8 days (starting from May 26 to June 1, 2024) with the goal of raising 10,000 Australian dollars (equivalent to about 168 million VND).

Previously, on the afternoon of May 24, the Miss Universe Australia contestants attended the “Hoiana Summer Vibes 2024” press conference organized by Hoiana. This is the summer kick-off event, opening a series of exciting and attractive activities taking place at the resort this summer.

According to Mr. Van Ba Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, Australia is in the top 10 international tourist markets with the highest number of stays in Quang Nam in recent times. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism highly appreciates the idea, creativity, and connecting role of Hoiana, mobilizing the participation of Miss Universe Australia 2024 in this event, thereby contributing to promoting the image of Quang Nam widely to the world.

The Miss Universe Australia 2024 delegation visited Hoi An, Quang Nam at the invitation of the Hoiana Resort & Golf complex. Before that, the delegation spent 7 days experiencing high-class resort services, participating in cooking programs, practicing performances as well as performing some side competitions here.
