According to the plan of Mercer on Mission-Vietnam, 324 prosthetic legs and 56 prosthetic arms will be assembled; 500 patients with bone and joint diseases will be examined. The charity program is sponsored by Mercer University and the Phil & Alice Sheridan Charitable Foundation, with a total sponsorship value for patients of over 4 billion VND.
Patients with limbs attached include: above-knee amputations or below-knee amputations or below-elbow amputations. Patients with musculoskeletal diseases. Priority is given to poor patients and those in difficult circumstances who have not received treatment.

According to data provided by the Provincial Association for the Support of Poor Patients, in 10 years, from 2014 to December 2024, the Mercer on Mission Volunteer Group led by Professor, Doctor, Doctor Vo Van Ha visited Ben Tre 21 times. The group fitted 4,308 prosthetic limbs for people with disabilities, and examined and treated bone and joint diseases for over 13,600 people. In addition, the Group also provided free medicine and gifts to people with disabilities who came to get prosthetic limbs. By the end of 2024, the total value of the 21 working trips of the Mercer on Mission Volunteer Group in Ben Tre was nearly 37 billion VND.
