The province currently has more than 8,500 operating enterprises, employing about 251,000 workers, with an average income of 10.9 million VND/person/month.
Of which, the number of enterprises operating in industrial parks (IPs) accounts for only a small part with more than 500 enterprises, but creates jobs for more than 131 thousand workers.
Currently, more than 56% of the labor force in enterprises has not been trained. For laborers working in the province's key industrial sectors and fields, the number of trained laborers in automobile and motorbike manufacturing enterprises only accounts for 21.6% of the total of more than 10,400 laborers.
Enterprises producing components, spare parts, and auxiliary products for automobiles and motorbikes have 36.6% of their more than 10,800 employees having received training.
Electronics enterprises have 10% of trained workers, over 67,900 employees; textile, garment and footwear enterprises have 13% of trained workers, over 54,000 employees...
On the other hand, through recruitment work at enterprises, it shows that there is still a gap between the training programs of vocationaleducation institutions and the requirements of enterprises. Many students after graduation do not meet the expectations of recruiting enterprises, leading to a shortage of jobs in some industries, and enterprises have difficulty recruiting suitable workers.
As a company specializing in supplying and leasing labor to FDI enterprises in the province, Mansa Vietnam Construction and Trading Company Limited is currently managing more than 3,000 workers, of which about 1,800 workers are being leased to work at more than 60 factories and enterprises in the province's industrial parks.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truong, Director of Mansa Vietnam Construction and Trading Company Limited said: "In reality, the demand for labor recruitment of enterprises in the province is always very high, but labor supply is facing many difficulties.
Because the labor force in the province is scarce and the rate of job attachment is low, if we expand the recruitment of labor from other provinces, the problem of arranging accommodation and travel for workers will not meet the demand.
The connection between businesses and vocational training institutions in cooperation in training, career orientation, or connecting students for internships has not yet formed a system, leading to many difficulties in creating a long-term labor source.
In the process of working with customers, we have found that information about recruitment plans is often given urgently and at a time-sensitive basis, leading to labor supply businesses not having enough time to prepare resources, directly affecting the quality of human resources as well as the overall production progress.
To improve the efficiency of labor supply, the company is implementing many solutions such as promoting inter-provincial labor recruitment, linking with boarding houses and accommodation areas to support stabilizing workers' lives; expanding cooperation with vocational schools in and outside the province to build long-term resources...".
The province currently has 29 vocational training institutions, the main training groups are industrial electricity, industrial electronics, mechanical engineering technology, computer management...
Currently, the province is applying a policy to support vocational education at the elementary level and under 3 months according to Decision No. 46 of the Prime Minister and supporting training at the intermediate, college and high-quality college levels according to Resolution No. 19 of the Provincial People's Council to attract high-quality human resources to work at enterprises in the province.
On average, each year, the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs) provides job consultation and referrals to 18,000 - 20,000 people of working age; organizes more than 20 mobile job fairs at vocational training institutions to connect labor supply and demand; actively promotes and supports businesses in recruiting workers through social networks, and coordinates the organization of job recruitment programs...
In addition, the province also pays special attention to the implementation of social housing projects, actively attracting investment, speeding up the progress of projects to support housing for low-income people, and attracting workers to work in the province.
In 2024, vocational training institutions in the province trained nearly 28,000 workers, including 2,000 college-level students, nearly 8,400 intermediate-level students and more than 17,200 elementary-level students.
In 2025, the enrollment scale of vocational training institutions will be more than 41,000 people; the recruitment demand of enterprises according to the survey is more than 26,600 people.
With the province's support mechanisms and policies, it is hoped that the "thirst" for high-quality labor of enterprises in the province will soon be resolved, contributing to promoting socio-economic growth.
