“You have no idea how I feel,” Osbourne told 42,000 fans performing less than three weeks ago. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

In his final performances, he collaborated with many close colleagues such as Metallica and Guns N' Roses.
Ozzy Osbourne and original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Terence "Geezer" Butler and Bill Ward reunited for the first time in 20 years. Their performance was an emotional one on July 5.
After Osbourne's death, Metallica posted a photo of the band with Osbourne on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a broken heart emoji.
Ronnie Wood, a member of The Rolling Stones, also wrote: “I am so sad to hear of Ozzy Osbourne's death. What a wonderful farewell performance Ozzy gave us all.”
Black Sabbath's X account was also quick to post a photo of Osbourne from the show with the caption: “Ozzy forever.”
Ali Campbell, singer of Birmingham-based band UB40, also paid tribute to the rock legend: "Rest in peace Ozzy. The Prince of Darkness. A true Birmingham legend. The undisputed king of heavy metal.
He didn't just shape a culture, he shaped it. My deepest condolences to Sharon (Ozzy's wife) and the entire Osbourne family during this time."

Ozzy Osbourne (real name John Michael Osbourne) grew up in England. He is known as the father of heavy metal. He called himself the Prince of Darkness and pioneered the genre with the group Black Sabbath.
