As a child, Tran Quang Vu loved watching music shows of European bands. The images and sounds of the guitar remained in his mind. In 2012, he graduated from the English Language Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry. Here, Tran Quang Vu continued to be active in music and won prestigious awards such as: First Prize in Ho Chi Minh City Student Singing and the entire Faculty of Arts student block. In 2018, he graduated from Saigon University of Culture and Arts with excellent professional scores in both musical instruments and vocals. After graduating, Tran Quang Vu worked at HNMC and lectured at the School of Culture and Arts and the vocal center he founded... He still remembers that in 2017, he started his career in making guitars when he met the right master craftsman who guided him and helped him follow the path of professional high-end guitar production.

Sharing about the journey of building the Guitar Custom Vietnam brand, Tran Quang Vu said: “Initially, Guitar Custom Vietnam was a small facility with a scale of 5 technicians and a small capital of about 200 million VND. In 2017, I devoted my efforts and money to developing the high-end guitar segment. Currently, our total capital has increased many times. As the main investor, I have to learn new knowledge about guitars and related things every day and every hour. In 2019-2021, I had the first guitar design orders from Japan and Australia. Currently, we have 2 affiliated units: Truc Giang in Australia and Griffith Guitar in Japan and a number of small and large partners across Vietnam”.

Mr. Tran Quang Vu said that in order for Guitar Custom Vietnam to be as successful as it is today, he has also gone through many difficulties and challenges. “More than 10 years of being involved in music, 8 years of producing guitars on demand. I feel like I am living my true passion. On the contrary, I also experienced many times of fatigue and collapse when my own work fell into a deadlock, but somewhere I still have luck coming to me. In April 2023, I was honored to receive the Vietnam Outstanding Entrepreneur Award. In May 2023, the Golden Star Award; the 2023 Outstanding Innovative Entrepreneur - Intellectual Award presented by Lieutenant General Nguyen Dinh Chien (Director of the Institute of Defense Strategy); Uncle Ho Badge, etc. ".
