Young Vietnamese entrepreneurs reach new heights thanks to innovation and artificial intelligence

FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa: Young entrepreneurs commit to three new breakthroughs.

With the spirit of creating a generation of young entrepreneurs who are brave, creative and master of technology, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa emphasized the urgent need to invest in science and technology, data and innovation so that Vietnamese enterprises can compete fairly in the global market.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa said that although the private sector contributed 42% of GDP and 55% of total social income in the past 10 years, Vietnamese enterprises are still not really "strong enough" to compete with large global corporations. The "strategic gap" lies in investment in innovation and science and technology. This is a vital factor for Vietnam to escape the middle-income trap and transition to a knowledge-based economy .

He said that the new generation of entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs are committed to three new breakthroughs, including breakthroughs in human resources; breakthroughs in science, technology and data; breakthroughs in business models and ecosystems; and at the same time, they are committed to respecting the law, solidarity, mastering technology, investing in knowledge, and together bringing Vietnam's aspiration to reach the world.

Based on FPT's global experience, Mr. Khoa said that the young generation of entrepreneurs is committed to making three new breakthroughs. Specifically, a breakthrough in human resources, considering this the country's greatest asset; a breakthrough in science, technology and data; a breakthrough in business models and ecosystems.

Mr. Khoa stated that young entrepreneurs must have the skills to "cooperate with AI" (artificial intelligence), considering data as a new source of competitive energy. The government is strongly promoting the national data system, if businesses do not immediately mobilize to connect by 2026, they will be left behind.

"If we grasp science and technology and digital transformation, Vietnam can absolutely rise to the leading group in the new era. Young entrepreneurs are committed to mastering technology and investing in knowledge to bring Vietnam's aspiration to reach the world," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa.
