Accordingly, the opening ceremony will take place at 8:30 a.m. on August 28 at the Grand Ballroom, VinPalace Convention Center, National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City, instead of the previously planned location. This decision is to ensure security and safety for the delegates attending.
The exhibition, themed “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey”, aims to honor and introduce the country’s outstanding achievements over 80 years of protection, construction and development under the leadership of the Party and State. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts, contributions and sacrifices of many generations of Vietnamese people, while at the same time arousing pride in the heroic historical tradition, creating motivation for the nation to enter an era of strong, civilized and prosperous development.

The exhibition will introduce achievements in many key areas such as: industry - technology, investment - trade, agriculture - rural areas, security - defense, education - health, culture, sports and tourism. Exhibition areas include: Kim Quy Exhibition Hall with the theme "Vietnam - Journey to a new era", outdoor exhibition with the theme "Integration and development", Exhibition Hall Block A for international space and 12 cultural industries.
The exhibition combines a variety of forms from panels, photos, drawings, artifacts to 3D mapping projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audiovisual works and digital technology applications, AI. The exhibition not only helps people directly experience the country's achievements, but also introduces to international friends the image of a dynamic, innovative and deeply integrated Vietnam.
The exhibition takes place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center, promising to bring an inspiring experience about the country's 80-year development journey.
