On the afternoon of November 19, Coach Kim Sang Sik announced the starting lineup of the Vietnamese team to play against Laos in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, taking place at 7:00 p.m. the same day at the Laos National Stadium.
With the goal of winning all 3 points against Laos to continue to nurture the hope of winning a ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals, Coach Kim Sang Sik has arranged the strongest lineup for the Vietnamese team.
Accordingly, goalkeeper Dang Van Lam will start. The three central defenders are Duy Manh, Pham Xuan Manh and Bui Tien Dung.
The Vietnamese team's midfield quartet is Cao Pendant Quang Vinh (left), Hoang Duc, Thanh Long and Le Van Do (right).
The three strikers are Nguyen Van Vi, Tien Linh and Quang Hai. Returning from injury, naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son only sat on the bench with new player Nguyen Tran Viet Cuong.
Compared to the first leg win over Laos 5-0 in Binh Duong , the most notable change of the Vietnamese team is the return of goalkeeper Dang Van Lam instead of Dinh Trieu, and the presence of Le Van Do.
