
The workshop attracted a large number of scientists , managers, experts, and business representatives from the fields of science, technology, and digital transformation.
The workshop focused on clarifying the role and development trends of science, technology, and innovation in the context of the digital age; affirming that these are key drivers for promoting economic growth, increasing labor productivity, and ensuring rapid and sustainable development.
The delegates also summarized and evaluated the results after one year of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; identified new opportunities and challenges, and proposed directions and solutions for the next phase.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, emphasized that the development of science, technology, and innovation is an inevitable trend of the times, in line with the general laws of human development, and an indispensable requirement for every nation.
In its national development strategy, the Party has identified science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key driving forces and decisive factors in overcoming the middle-income trap, avoiding the risk of falling behind, and aiming to become a developing country with modern industry and upper-middle income by 2030, and a developed country with high income by 2045.
Experience shows that science, technology, and innovation have made significant contributions to socio-economic development, national defense and security, and sustainable development, but further comprehensive and synchronized innovation is still needed to create breakthroughs.
The presentations were divided into two main groups. The first focused on theoretical and practical foundations, such as Professor Tran Trung's presentation on innovation based on the digital education ecosystem; Associate Professor Le Trong Tuyen and Dr. Vu Tra Giang's analysis of the challenges posed by cyberspace to national security... The second group delved into trends and solutions, notably presentations on science, technology, and digital transformation as the central drivers of growth, along with research on human resource development and enhancing national competitiveness.
At the conference, delegates analyzed scientific and technological trends in the digital age, assessed the current situation in Vietnam, and proposed solutions to remove bottlenecks, develop digital citizens, ensure cybersecurity, and strengthen international cooperation.
