Innovation for digital transformation in the medical industry

On July 18 in Hanoi, the Department of Science, Technology and Training, Ministry of Health in collaboration with Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam Association for Research and Application of Biomedical Technology and technology units launched and opened the project "Opportunities from AI for medical staff".

This is a specific and practical step to implement digital transformation tasks, administrative reform and improve service quality in the health sector, in the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and the "Digital Education for All" movement launched by the Prime Minister .

The project aims to train 15,000 medical staff. Through the courses, students will be equipped with basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and digital tools to apply to their work, thereby improving labor productivity, shortening work processing time, minimizing errors and creating innovations in the work process.

In particular, the training program is designed to be highly practical, closely linked to the current working position of each trainee, through hypothetical situations and online-direct training. The implementation of this program is not only a training activity, but also a step to prepare the workforce for the process of modernizing the medical industry, accelerating the digital transformation process in the national health system. Thereby, each medical staff, especially at the grassroots level, can master technology, increase work efficiency, and serve the people better."

In the coming time, the project will continue to expand to localities, with the expectation of forming a network of medical staff who are knowledgeable about technology, contributing to building a modern, effective healthcare system and serving the people better and better.
