This year, the competition attracted more than 6,000 applications from young people across Vietnam, making Vietnam the country with the 7th highest number of interested and participating candidates in the L'Oréal Brandstorm competition system globally.

Among the 5 teams participating in the final round on April 23, team L'OVATION, consisting of 3 students Nguyen Tat Dat, Tran Thi Minh Anh, Tran Phuong Vy from RMIT University, Ho Chi Minh City, won the championship with a breakthrough solution of a smart skin care device integrated with mental care for men.

This is an integrated skin care device that simplifies the skin care routine to just 3 steps - serum, moisturizer and eye cream. The device also incorporates heart rate and stress measurement technology to activate haptic feedback vibration mode, giving users a relaxing skin care experience.

The RMIT team will represent young Vietnamese people in Paris (France) to compete with young people around the world in June.

This year's L'Oréal Brandstorm youth innovation competition focuses on creating skin care experiences for men through sustainable, comprehensive, personalized technology solutions.

The judges focused on the ability to harness the power of data, digital tools, virtual reality and general AI, and asked the teams to propose truly innovative ideas to meet men's grooming and beauty needs.
