Dialogue between young Chinese and Vietnamese entrepreneurs “Red River Basin”

On November 27, 2024, in Ha Khau district, Yunnan province (China), the China - Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue "Red River Basin" took place. This is an activity within the framework of the Red River Festival - Vietnam - China Cooperation Week in the Red River Basin 2024, jointly organized by Lao Cai province and Hong Ha district.

Comrade Duong Xuan - Secretary of the Hong Ha Youth Union welcomed and presented flowers to the Lao Cai Youth Delegation and young entrepreneurs at Lao Cai international border gate.

Attending the dialogue, on the side of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) were comrade Nguyen Hai Dang, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, and comrades in the Provincial Executive Committee of the Youth Union; representatives of members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Provincial Youth Startup Club.

On the side of Hong Ha district (Yunnan province, China), there were comrades: Duong Xuan, Secretary of Hong Ha district Youth Union, Chairman of Hong Ha district Youth Union; Duong Quoc Hai, Deputy Secretary of Hong Ha district Youth Union, Vice Chairman of Hong Ha district Youth Union, and comrades in the Executive Committee of Hong Ha district Youth Union, Ha Khau district Youth Union and representatives of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, Youth Union for Startup and Employment of Hong Ha district.

At the dialogue, delegates from both sides focused on exchanging and sharing policies of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Hong Ha district (Yunnan province, China) in supporting youth start-ups, cross-border trade, talent development; preferential policies and measures to support cooperation between young entrepreneurs of the two countries; introducing information and investment needs of cooperation projects between young entrepreneurs of China and Vietnam; exchanging current work status, existing problems, cooperation and development opportunities in the future between young entrepreneurs of the two countries in related fields; giving cooperation proposals and project ideas.

At the end of the dialogue, the delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a project cooperation agreement between 6 young enterprises from Vietnam and China. This dialogue provided a valuable exchange opportunity for young entrepreneurs from Vietnam and China, and also added new vitality to the economic cooperation between the two countries.
