At the dialogue, the Conservation Area proposed 3 options to consult with the contracted households. Specifically, the contracted households would join with the investors and agree to liquidate the contract or the households would carry out their own tourism projects but meet the requirements according to regulations.
Accordingly, the majority of households agreed to the plan to liquidate the contract before the deadline if the government and investors provided financial support according to regulations. In addition, some households also wanted to accompany the investors.
Director of the Conservation Area Nguyen Hoang Hao said that after the dialogue, the Conservation Area will collect opinions from each household to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring the progress of project implementation when approved; at the same time, applying the best policies to ensure the rights of the people.
The Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project for the Conservation Area for the period 2021-2030 has so far attracted 12 investors to participate in the bidding, of which 11 are qualified. This project plans 51 ecotourism development points, more than 50 households currently have more than 93 hectares of forest land allocated to points 1.2 and 1.7 - where a high-class resort complex and a botanical garden and medicinal herb garden will be built.
