Among the four teams in Group E of the qualifying round, the Chinese futsal team is the host team. The matches in Group E will take place at the Linping Gymnasium in Hangzhou (China).
Although not playing at home, among the opponents in group E, including China, Lebanon and Hong Kong (China), no team is stronger than the Vietnamese futsal team.

Coach Diego Giustozzi's team (Argentinian) is far ahead of the remaining opponents in Group E, if considered according to the rankings of the World Football Federation (FIFA).
Specifically, the Vietnamese futsal team is ranked 26th in the world, host China is ranked 85th in the world, Lebanon is ranked 54th, and Hong Kong is ranked 123rd in the world.
The selection of teams to participate in the final round is also quite simple for the Vietnam futsal team. Specifically, the 8 group winners and 7 second-place teams with the best results (out of 8 qualifying groups) will qualify for the final round.
That means that if the Vietnamese futsal team wins one of the top two positions in Group E, we will almost certainly have a ticket to the final round in Indonesia from late January to early February 2026.
The schedule of Group E also favors the Vietnamese futsal team. Coach Diego Giustozzi's team will play their first match against the weakest team in the group, Hong Kong, this afternoon (September 20).
Then, on September 22, we will meet the Chinese team. Finally, on September 24, the Vietnamese futsal team will face the Lebanese team. That is, we will play from the easiest match to the more difficult match.
