(HNMO) - On June 4, the Vietnamese futsal team practiced at the Sol de America stadium. This is where the matches of the Paraguayan National Futsal Championship take place, so the floor quality and lighting are very good. The players have also adapted to the weather and time frame in Paraguay, so they are very comfortable participating in the practice session.
Coach Giustozzi Diego Raul, as usual, has very high demands on both the intensity of the game and the speed of handling situations. The Argentine coach wants to create pressure so that his players can get used to the playing style that the world's 9th ranked team like Paraguay will apply. In the composition of the Vietnamese futsal team, there are a number of players who are training internationally for the first time and are eager to show themselves to be used more by the coach.
Coach Giustozzi Diego Raul said that the players have adapted well after 2 days of travel and conditions in Paraguay. He was satisfied with the team's preparation and affirmed that the Vietnamese team is ready for 6 important matches in this South American training trip. To improve the quality of the team, it is not only about tactics but also the development of young players, the cohesion and understanding within the team.
“This is just our preparation phase and I hope that by October, when the Asian qualifiers take place, we will have the best options. Paraguay is a strong team in South America and is a candidate for the championship every time the South American Championship is held. But we are confident in preparing for the matches. I want the players to play confidently to accumulate experience for themselves in the future,” said coach Giustozzi Diego Raul.
The first friendly match between the Vietnam futsal team and the Paraguay futsal team will take place at 3:00 a.m. on June 5, Vietnam time.
