(QBĐT) - On May 6, Nhat Le Border Guard Station received 2 boxes of fireworks, weighing 3kg, handed over by Mr. Pham Minh Nhan (born in 1989) in Hai Thanh ward, Dong Hoi city.

Previously, on May 2, the unit also received 3 sets of used electric shock tools handed over by Mr. Lai Tan Dung (born in 1973), Mr. Truong Hung (born in 1986), both residing in Bao Ninh commune, and Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong (born in 1973), residing in Quang Phu commune.

In recent times, Nhat Le Border Guard Station has actively coordinated with localities and functional forces to propagate and mobilize people to voluntarily surrender weapons, explosives, support tools and artillery. In particular, in the stationed area, there are many coastal communes and wards, so the unit focuses on mobilizing people to strictly comply with regulations on exploitation and fishing. Through propaganda and mobilization, many fishermen have become aware of the serious harm of exploitation and fishing with electric shock tools and voluntarily surrender, contributing to limiting illegal exploitation and protecting aquatic resources.
