At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee discussed and evaluated the performance of the Steering Committee for the prevention and control of corruption, waste and negativity in the first 6 months of 2025 of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces (before the merger). Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Steering Committees of the two provinces have closely followed their functions and tasks, focused on innovating their working methods to ensure order, focus and key points; promptly issued the work program, inspection and supervision for 2025, clearly identifying key and key tasks for direction and implementation.

The Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces has promoted its role as the Standing Body of the Steering Committee; the coordination between functional agencies on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity in the province has become increasingly close and effective. Members of the Steering Committee, according to their functions, tasks and work program for 2025, regularly direct, urge, inspect and supervise agencies, units, fields and areas assigned to monitor and take charge of the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Steering Committee will continue to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; urgently advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to develop a plan to implement the Politburo 's regulations on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the management and use of public finance and assets.
Directing, advising on the preliminary and final summaries of the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central and the province on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity according to regulations. At the same time, directing the strengthening of inspection, supervision and examination work, especially strengthening the control, inspection, supervision and examination of the exercise of power at the new commune level, resolutely preventing corruption, waste and negativity from occurring; thoroughly overcoming the mentality of waiting, relying on, pushing and avoiding in the performance of public duties.

The authorities focused on directing the acceleration of investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; strictly handling corruption, waste, and negative cases; further promoting the effectiveness of recovering corrupt, wasteful, and negative assets.
At the meeting, the Steering Committee also deployed the working regulations and decided to assign tasks to the Steering Committee members; thoroughly grasped and implemented the Notice of Conclusion at the 28th Session of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
At the same time, give opinions on the content of the adjustment of the 2025 inspection and supervision program of the Steering Committee; progress and results of handling cases that the Steering Committee is monitoring and directing the handling; give opinions on the conclusion of the direction of handling cases and incidents that the Steering Committee is monitoring and directing the handling.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized that after the merger of the provinces, the workload was large. He requested the members of the Steering Committee and the Standing Agency to continue to improve their sense of responsibility and be more determined in directing, operating and organizing the implementation of assigned tasks.
The comrade suggested that the Steering Committee regularly review, amend, supplement, complete or propose to complete legal documents on socio -economic management to prevent corruption, waste and negativity. At the same time, direct to promote and further improve the effectiveness of propaganda and education on integrity; promptly orient and provide information according to regulations; propagate and mobilize cadres, party members and people to promote the spirit of self-awareness, actively participate in monitoring, detecting and denouncing acts of corruption, waste and negativity.
