Screening for lung and respiratory diseases for people

From September 17 to 19, Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Lung Hospital and medical stations: Cam Phu, Cam Loc, Cam Phuc Nam to organize health check-ups and screening for lung and respiratory diseases for local people.

The program is sponsored by the USAID Project. The subjects of examination include: people who have been in contact with or lived with tuberculosis patients; people with symptoms of prolonged cough and phlegm, fever of unknown origin, weight loss, night sweats; people who have been treated for tuberculosis; patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumoconiosis; people with underlying diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease; smokers, drinkers; people over 60 years old. People will be examined by doctors, have digital X-rays, tests and tuberculosis tests.
