Visiting and encouraging people at shelters in Trung Gia Kindergarten, Trung Gia commune and Tan Hung Primary School, Da Phuc commune, comrade Bui Huyen Mai shared the difficulties and losses, hoping that people would always unite and support each other.
At the visited locations, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city kindly visited and shared the difficulties of people in the flood conditions that severely affected their lives.

Affirming that the City Fatherland Front at all levels always accompanies and supports, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee encouraged people to stay safe in shelters and strictly follow the instructions of the authorities.
Witnessing the urgency and responsibility of the Trung Gia Commune Civil Defense Command, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Bui Huyen Mai shared the difficulties and highly appreciated the proactive and adaptive spirit of the Party Committee and local authorities in flood prevention and control, mobilizing forces according to the "4 on-site" motto, promptly deploying response measures and overcoming the consequences of incidents caused by natural disasters; at the same time, flexibly implementing plans to move people out of deeply flooded areas, promptly organizing relief and supporting food and necessities for people.

Along with the request for the Civil Defense Command of the communes to regularly update the changes in river water levels and weather conditions to promptly respond, comrade Bui Huyen Mai noted that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune and the commune's organizations should closely coordinate, strengthen propaganda, and mobilize people to evacuate from locations at risk of landslides, giving priority to relief for the elderly, children, pregnant women, etc.
Up to now, some residential areas and inter-village roads in Trung Gia commune are still deeply flooded, partially flooded. Some areas are flooded from 1m to 1.5m, causing traffic disruption. People's movement and transportation and supply of essential necessities to isolated households in 18 villages and 4 shelters are all thanks to the support of the Army and Police forces.

As of the morning of October 10, Trung Gia commune had more than 4,000 households with more than 16,000 people in 18 villages isolated by flooding. The commune has assisted in moving more than 3,400 people from more than 860 households to safe shelters in cultural houses and schools.
In Da Phuc commune, more than 1,500 households with more than 6,500 people outside the main level 3 dike have been evacuated to safe shelters.
