On August 6, Son La Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's Decision on personnel work. Attending the conference were comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission.
Attending the conference were comrades: Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee ; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.
At the conference, comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, Central Organization Committee, announced Decision No. 1419-QDNS/TW dated August 1, 2024 of the Politburo approving comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision and congratulated comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh on his new assignment and responsibility. He asked comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh to continue to inherit the achievements and experiences of his predecessors, with his intellectual capacity and strong political will to successfully complete the assigned tasks; unite with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the entire army and people in the province to strive to successfully complete the Resolution of the 15th Son La Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and doing a good job of preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility of the Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee; thanked the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, and former key leaders of the province for their trust and support. At the same time, he promised to promote the achievements of the locality, make efforts and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks; together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to continue to successfully implement the goals of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.
Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh was born on September 2, 1969, Thai ethnic group, hometown Chieng Pan commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province; joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1999; professional qualifications: Doctor of Economics, Bachelor of Law, senior political theory, chief inspector, senior specialist.
From August 1988 to July 2003, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh studied and researched in the Russian Federation.
He has held the following positions in Son La province: Vice Chairman, Chairman of Phu Yen District People's Committee; Secretary of Phu Yen District Party Committee; Director of Son La Provincial Department of Planning and Investment; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee.
