Implementing the policy of the Politburo agreeing to complete the personnel of the Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 17th term, 2020 - 2025 term, at the conference, comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on introducing personnel to elect the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 17th term, 2020 - 2025 term for comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
After listening to the presentation and carefully studying the structure, standards, and conditions of the proposed personnel, the delegates raised their sense of responsibility and proceeded to vote according to regulations. As a result, with the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
During the program, the conference also elected additional members of the Inspection Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020 - 2025, for comrade Nguyen Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Van Nghiem highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, solidarity and unity of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
Based on the voting results at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to preside over and advise on and draft a report from the Provincial Party Committee to submit to the Central Committee for approval of the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee according to regulations; at the same time, requested the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to urgently meet to elect the Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to preside over and advise on and draft a report from the Provincial Party Committee to submit to the Central Committee for approval of the election results of the positions of Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee according to regulations.
