2025 is the second time the Tourism Week is organized at the provincial level to promote tourism, introduce cultural values, cuisine , craft villages and unique types of eco-tourism in Thai Binh province. The provincial tourism week will bring many rich programs, meeting the diverse needs of entertainment, recreation and exploration of the public such as: decorative hot air balloon performances; traditional water puppetry performances; provincial wrestling; Thai Binh culinary fair introducing local delicacies, combined with OCOP product displays; the art program "Thanh am voi voi cung cheo" and special music and dance programs. The event is an important step to establish a walking street model on Dinh Tien Hoang street, Ky Ba ward (Thai Binh city) to build a regular cultural and commercial destination for people and tourists. The walking street is well planned with street art performance areas and more than 70 souvenir stalls, specialty cuisine, check-in areas, and cultural and artistic exhibitions, aiming to bring a complete experience to visitors. This is an opportunity to promote the image of the land and people of Thai Binh, friendly, hospitable, rich in identity and on the path of strong development.
Currently, preparations for the opening ceremony of Thai Binh Province Tourism Week and the opening of Thai Binh City Walking Street are in the final stages. Plans and schemes for traffic flow, vehicle parking, checkpoints, etc. have been implemented, ensuring convenience for people to visit and experience.

Speaking at the inspection, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation work of Thai Binh city and related units. In order for the opening ceremony of Thai Binh Province Tourism Week and the opening of Thai Binh City Walking Street to be successful, he requested that units mobilize forces, promptly complete the final tasks; focus on environmental sanitation, create green, clean, beautiful landscapes and decorate around the walking street area; at the same time, do a good job of ensuring security, order, traffic safety, and food hygiene and safety. Recreational activities need to be organized in a diverse manner, regularly innovated and created to meet the needs of all classes and ages.
He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the City People's Committee to do a good job of propaganda, develop a safety plan suitable for weather conditions, ensuring that the opening ceremony of Thai Binh Province Tourism Week and the opening of Thai Binh City Walking Street take place solemnly and thoughtfully, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
