The Politburo decided to approve comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
On the afternoon of September 26, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and implement the Politburo 's Decision on personnel work. Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, chaired and presented the Decision.
Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; Nguyen Ho Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Le Thanh Liem, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Kim Yen, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department; and comrades leading agencies advising and assisting the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
At the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai announced the Politburo's Decision. Accordingly, the Politburo decided to approve Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen congratulated and reviewed the working process and growth from the grassroots through many positions and working environments of comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, a son of the city.

He has been associated with Ho Chi Minh City for a long time, working on youth and children, culture,education , health, environment, etc. He is one of the officials who has deep understanding, enthusiasm and certain contributions to the country and Ho Chi Minh City in these fields.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen expressed his confidence and trust in comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc to continue to promote his capacity and experience in work to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
