Dong Thap: Thunderstorms collapse and blow off roofs of houses in Tan Nhuan Dong commune

(ABO) A thunderstorm on the evening of July 20 collapsed one house and blew off the roofs of three others in Tan Nhuan Dong commune, Dong Thap province.

On July 21, the Tan Nhuan Dong Commune Military Command reported on a thunderstorm that occurred in the area. According to initial information, at 11 p.m. on July 20, rain and thunderstorms occurred in Tan Nhuan Dong Commune, causing one house to collapse and the roofs of three other houses to be blown off.

The thunderstorm also caused trees to fall in Group 6, Tan Binh Hamlet; An Thai Hamlet; An Ninh Hamlet in Tan Nhuan Dong Commune. After the incident, Tan Nhuan Dong Commune mobilized forces to help overcome the consequences.

According to initial statistics, the damage caused by thunderstorms is estimated at about 100 million VND.
