Banking Legal AI Project Wins Top Prize at ATTACKER 2025

URAx team won first prize ATTACKER 2025.

After more than 4 months of exciting competition, the ATTACKER 2025 financial technology competition has officially ended with a convincing victory belonging to a group of students from the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology).

The URA-xLaw project is an artificial intelligence platform that supports searching and consulting legal documents in the banking sector.

The project is highly appreciated for its ability to apply AI in processing legal documents quickly and transparently, effectively supporting the State Bank and financial institutions.

This platform helps the legal department save time looking up and updating new regulations, thereby making decisions in accordance with legal practices in Vietnam.

Nguyen Song Thien Long, Head of URAx, said the group will continue to improve the product according to the jury's comments, and at the same time prepare to publish the scientific research paper and participate in the creative startup competition organized by SIHUB.

Second prize went to a group of students from the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) with the HYHAN project - an educational Fintech platform that helps students access scholarships, loans, jobs and training.

HYHAN is not only a financial support tool but also a learning - career - community ecosystem, creating a sustainable support cycle between students and businesses.

Tran Le Quang An, head of the NFT team, shared that with professional knowledge of finance and new technologies such as Chatbot, AI, Blockchain, etc., the team has a solid foundation to apply to the project.

"The competition is a valuable opportunity for us to conduct scientific research and turn ideas into feasible projects, as well as have a more comprehensive and in-depth view of the financial problems that students are facing," Quang An said.

Pentagram team won third place in ATTACKER 2025.

Third prize was awarded to a group of students from the University of Economics (University of Danang ) with the PentaGold project - a digital asset trading ecosystem based on gold. This platform allows users to store, invest, lend and pay with digital gold in a flexible and transparent way, opening up a new direction for the traditional asset market.

Two Consolation Prizes were awarded to teams from RMIT University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.

In particular, the 5 best projects and 10 potential topics from the Incubation Board will be specially admitted to the qualifying round of the Innovation - Creative Startup competition organized by SIHUB.

ATTACKER 2025 is an annual event within the framework of "Ho Chi Minh City Fintech Road", co-organized by the University of Economics and Law, International Data Group (IDG) and Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies (HIDS).

With the theme "Are you an innovator? We're your investors", the competition creates an academic and creative forum for students to present ideas, business models and digital solutions in the financial sector.

Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Rector of the University of Economics and Law, emphasized that winning or losing in the competition is not the ultimate goal, but the most important thing is the long journey ahead. All students participating in ATTACKER 2025 deserve to be called winners.
